Water is one of the most destructive impurities in natural gas. Molecular sieve dehydration is currently the most widely used deep dehydration method in industry, offering significant dew point reduction and excellent dehydration effect. 4A molecular sieves, with their unique pore structure and adsorption selectivity, have become the industry standard choice for deep dehydration of natural gas. 4A zeolite is an alkali alumino silicate, and is the sodium form of the type A crystal structure, which has an effective pore opening of about 4 angstroms.

PM Natural Gas Drying Solution
The 4A molecular sieve has a pore size of approximately 4 angstroms, exhibiting superior selective adsorption performance for water compared to any other molecule. It can precisely adsorb water molecules, CO₂, H₂S, and other harmful impurities in natural gas, while simultaneously removing propane, butane, and larger hydrocarbon molecules. Optimized selection of PM 4A spherical molecular sieves, characterized by high strength, low dust, and high adsorption capacity, increases the bulk density from 0.66 g/mL to 0.70 g/mL without altering the dehydration unit's volume or water absorption capacity. The compressive strength reaches over 100 N/particle, and the static water adsorption value exceeds 22%. After deep dehydration using the 4A molecular sieve, the pressure dew point of natural gas can reach -60°C or even lower, meeting the extremely low dew point requirements for deep natural gas dehydration and LNG production.
