Used in both deep vacuum and high pressure towers. The shape of the metal intalox saddle filler is a combination of the ring and the saddle, which benefits the advantages of both. Metal Super Saddle is a high performance random packing successfully used in small and large diameter mass transfer columns. It is often used in deep vacuum columns where low pressure drop is critical and in higher pressure columns with capacities that greatly exceed conventional trays.
