  • Its compressive strength is as high as 2000-5000N or more. Its high hardness makes it impact-resistant and wear-resistant in industrial production, which can extend its service life and reduce equipment maintenance costs.
  • It has excellent high temperature resistance and can maintain stable physical and chemical properties in high temperature environments above 1200℃, making it suitable for high-temperature industrial equipment. For example, in high-temperature operations such as ceramic firing and metallurgical smelting, high alumina ceramic balls can be used as supporting materials to ensure the stability of the internal structure of the equipment without affecting product quality.
  • It also has excellent corrosion resistance and good chemical stability in acidic and alkaline environments, ensuring the safe operation of chemical equipment.

Application

  • Chemical Industry: It is widely used in petroleum refining, fertilizer production, etc., to support catalysts and improve reaction efficiency in catalytic cracking units; to adsorb impurities in gas purification towers; and to be used as inert fillers in reactors to optimize material flow. ​
  • Metallurgical Industry: It is used in blast furnaces, hot blast furnaces and other equipment to improve gas distribution uniformity and heat exchange efficiency; to purify molten metal and improve product purity; and as linings for high-temperature kilns to extend equipment life. ​
  • Environmental Protection: It is used as biofilter media in sewage treatment to degrade pollutants; to adsorb and catalyze harmful gases during waste gas treatment; and to filter high-temperature flue gas in waste incineration power generation projects. ​
  • Ceramic and Refractory Industry: It is used as ceramic grinding media to improve raw material quality; and to enhance material performance and service life in the preparation of refractory materials.
  • Heat Storage Field: High alumina balls are suitable for the heat storage ball combustion system of gas and non-gas fuel industrial furnaces due to their high specific heat capacity, good thermal stability and high temperature resistance. They are especially suitable for virtual heat heating furnaces, heat storage ladle roasters, air separation equipment heat storage devices in the air separation industry, and heat storage smelting furnaces in the non-ferrous metal industry. They can also be used as heat storage carriers in large forging plant heat storage trolley furnaces, heat storage electric boilers, heat storage incinerators and other industries.
