According to the different filter layer structure, ceramic Raschig ring can be divided into single layer, two layers and three layers. Each kind of the filter layer has different functions, so it can meet your requirements for filtering different materials.
Ceramic Raschig rings are used in chemical reactions to create high-purity compounds. The rings are made of porous ceramic material that allows gas molecules to pass through them, but traps solid particles and other unwanted materials. This allows the user to filter out impurities from a liquid solution, leaving behind only the desired product.
Raschig Ring Application
The application of Ceramic Raschig ring includes: oil extraction from seeds; water purification; removal of heavy metal ions; removal of organic and inorganic impurities from industrial gases; removal of impurities in air conditioning systems; separation of components in biological products (e.g., blood fractionation); extraction of food coloring; decolorization; separation of liquid mixtures with different densities (e.g., ethanol-water); separation at high temperatures (e.g., hydrogen peroxide decomposition).
