Wire Mesh Structured Packing Introduction:
Wire Mesh Structured Packing consists of corrugated and textured sheet metal. The angles of inclination of the corrugations of adjacent sheets are opposite relative to the vertical column axis, forming a mixing unit at each point where the corrugations intersect. The result is a very open honeycomb structure with sloping flow channels with relatively high surface area but very low resistance to airflow. This construction ensures excellent and even cushioning at low and high liquid loads. Columns operating at low liquid loads require specially designed structured packing to ensure adequate effect.
Wire mesh structured packing has the characteristics of large specific surface area, large porosity and light weight; small air channel inclination, regularity and pressure drop.
Wire mesh structured packing is widely used in purification, extraction, distillation, cooling and many other fields in chemical, petrochemical, metallurgy, pharmaceutical, light industry and other industries.
