Natural gas, LPG Adsorption 4A Molecular sieve beads are synthetic crystalline zeolites in which the atoms are arranged in a definite pattern. Internally, the structure has many cavities, which are connected with each other through smaller holes of the same size. These pores can only accept the same size and smaller molecules and transfer them to these cavities, so they are named molecular sieves.
The adsorption characteristics of water vapor are very different from that of silica gel. Molecular sieves can absorb up to 20% of the weight of water before the relative humidity of the surrounding air increases significantly. Any further increase will cause a significant increase in relative humidity.
These properties enable the molecular sieve to maintain a very low dew point (- 50 ° C) for 10% of the adsorbed water. The material also has the ability of fast adsorption of water vapor, and can maintain high adsorption efficiency at high temperature up to 90 ° C.
Applications
1. 4A can be used for drying and removing of CO2 from natural gas, LPG, air, etc.
