In order to make the cooling tower packing work better, the daily management of the cooling tower and the cooling tower packing is essential. Please see the detailed explanation as follows:
(1) According to the production load, meteorological conditions and the status of each tower equipment, develop an economical and reasonable operation mode.
(2) Reasonably adjust and distribute the water load of the cooling towers operating in parallel to make the comprehensive water temperature lower after cooling (except for winter operation). Reasonably adjust the water level of the water tanks in the cooling tower to make the water spray density evenly distributed. The water distribution tank is not allowed to overflow directly because the water level is too high. The water level difference of the water distribution tanks in the same tower should not exceed 10%~15%, and the outlet water temperature difference of the same type of cooling tower should not exceed 1C.
(3) Regularly observe and record the operating parameters of each cooling tower, generally once every 2h. The recorded content includes meteorological conditions, cooling tower operating conditions and related notes, etc.
(4) Regularly observe the water levels of the cooling tower sump and circulating water ditch, so that the water level difference of different parts is not more than 15%. Adjust the supplemental water volume in time to keep the circulating water pump working normally and avoid overflow of the pool water. When the water level difference between the front and back of the filter of the circulating ditch is more than 10cm, it means that the filter is blocked and the filter should be cleaned immediately.
(5) Correctly implement an economical and reasonable pollution discharge plan; observe the pollution and water quality of the cooling equipment; frequently check and ensure the normal operation of the sewage system, and make relevant records.
(6) According to the winter weather conditions, production load and cooling equipment status, compile the winter operation plan of the cooling tower group and winter antifreeze measures.
(7) Correctly implement and reasonably adjust the winter operation plan and anti-freezing measures, including: reasonable operation of the cooling tower in winter; putting in a special anti-freezing water distribution device; regular temperature measurement and diligent adjustment of the wind shield; timely removal of harmful ice; right Out-of-service equipment shall be emptied for water storage or circulating water protection and anti-freezing measures.
(8) Observe the leakage of equipment such as cooling tower sump and circulating water ditch. When the cooling tower is out of operation, it can be judged from the change of water level; when the cooling tower is running, it can be judged from the change of water supply and water level. If necessary, organize inspections.
(9) Regularly analyze the changes in the thermal characteristics of the cooling tower and its causes, and analyze the economic benefits of the cooling tower operation.
(10) Frequently inspect and record the defects of the cooling tower and circulating water system, and report to relevant parties.
(11) The monitoring of rotating equipment such as mechanical ventilation cooling tower fans should be strengthened during operation; mechanical friction, blade swing, motor temperature rise, gearbox and bearing oil level changes, and oil pump operation.
(12) In the cold season, the condensate should be prevented from being too cold during operation. The number of circulating water pumps and cooling towers can be determined after calculating and testing the circulating water volume in winter according to meteorological conditions and load conditions. Of course, emergency measures must be taken to prevent sudden changes in climate.
