3A molecular sieve, also known as potassium molecular sieve, is an alkali metal aluminosilicate with a beige appearance and a pore size of 3 angstroms. It is a potassium type of A-type crystal structure. It has a selective adsorption function for small polar molecules and unsaturated molecules. The greater the polarity and the higher the degree of unsaturation, the stronger its selective adsorption and strong water absorption. It is mainly used to adsorb water and does not adsorb any molecules with a diameter greater than 3 angstroms. It is the preferred desiccant for deep drying, refining and polymerization of gas and liquid in the petroleum and chemical industries.
I. Characteristics:
3A zeolite molecular sieve has uniform pore size and extremely high specific surface area, good thermal stability, strong adsorption performance, large internal surface area, high strength, more regeneration times, higher crushing strength, stronger anti-pollution ability, greater utilization efficiency and longer service life.
II. Application:
1. the drying of unsaturated hydrocarbons such as ethylene, propylene, butadiene, acetylene gas etc.
2. the drying of petroleum cracking gas
3. the drying of natural gas and methane gas4. the drying of polar liquids such as methanol and ethanol
4. the drying of air
III. Storage precautions:
Molecular sieve beads are adsorbents and should not be directly exposed to the air during storage. They should be placed in a dry place. Molecular sieves that have been stored for a long time should be regenerated before use.
IV. Packaging:
1. 25kg paper bag
2. 135kg or 150kg iron drum
3. 25kg or 30kg carton or paper drum
