Which Dessicant Use For Adsorption Type Dryer?

The adsorption dryer uses the water adsorption characteristics of adsorbents (activated alumina, silica gel and molecular sieve) to reduce the water content in the compressed air. Generally speaking, the dew point of the outlet air can reach more than - 40 ℃.

Working Principle

The adsorption dryer achieves the drying effect through "pressure change" (pressure swing adsorption principle). Since the capacity of air to hold water vapor is inversely proportional to the pressure, part of the dried air (called regeneration gas) expands to atmospheric pressure under reduced pressure. This pressure change makes the expanded air more dry, and then let it flow through the desiccant layer to be regenerated that is not connected with the air flow (i.e. the drying tower that has absorbed enough water vapor), and the dry regeneration gas sucks out the water in the desiccant, Take it out of the dryer to achieve the purpose of dehumidification. The two towers work circularly without heat source and continuously provide dry compressed air to the user's gas system.
