4A molecular sieve is an alkali metal aluminosilicate with an effective pore size of approximately 4 angstroms. The sodium form of type A molecular sieve is widely used as a general-purpose desiccant and exhibits excellent physical and adsorption properties. It only traps molecules with a critical diameter of 4 angstroms or less, while molecules with diameters larger than 4 angstroms are blocked, enabling separation and selective adsorption of molecules of varying sizes.

4A molecular sieve desiccant offers significant advantages due to its abundant and uniform internal micropores, resulting in a large surface area, highly selective adsorption, high adsorption capacity, chemical stability, safety, and non-toxicity. It can specifically adsorb small molecules, such as water, methanol, ethanol, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, carbon dioxide, ethylene, and propylene, while ignoring larger molecules, enabling precise capture and separation of specific molecules.

Natural gas purification: Natural gas often contains impurities such as water. During transportation, water can cause hydrate formation, potentially clogging pipelines. 4A molecular sieve adsorbent, with its highly efficient adsorption capacity for water molecules, can deeply remove moisture from natural gas, ensuring natural gas dryness, meeting pipeline transportation requirements, and preventing pipeline corrosion and blockage.

 

Refrigerator drying: In refrigeration systems, moisture in the refrigerant can reduce cooling efficiency and even cause ice blockage. 4A molecular sieves can be used for refrigerant drying, selectively adsorbing the moisture without adsorbing the refrigerant itself, ensuring stable and efficient operation of the refrigeration system.

 

Liquid chemical raw material drying: 4A molecular sieve bead can be used to remove moisture from many liquid chemical raw materials, such as alcohols (methanol and ethanol), during production, storage, and transportation, preventing problems such as product quality degradation and chemical reaction abnormalities caused by moisture.

 

Static drying of pharmaceutical packaging and electronic components: 4A zeolite molecular sieve is often packaged as a desiccant and embedded in the packaging cavity, sealed box, or shipping packaging of electronic components. By continuously adsorbing moisture from the environment, it keeps humidity at extremely low levels (typically below 30% relative humidity), providing a dry storage environment for the components.
