13X HP molecular sieve is an alkaline metal aluminosilicate with a pore size of 10 angstroms. It is a new type of X-structure oxygen-generating molecular sieve. Packing Mall 13X HP zeolite has uniform pore size and large specific surface area, high adsorption efficiency and high oxygen purity, up to 96%, and is often used in gas separation, purification and other fields. The following is its general use method:
Preparation Before Filling
First, check the molecular sieve desiccant. Check whether it is damp, agglomerated, broken, etc. If so, it should be dried or replaced. Second, clean the equipment. Thoroughly clean the equipment used, such as the adsorption tower to ensure that there are no impurities, dust and to prevent the molecular sieve beads from clogging or affecting its performance. Third, prepare protective equipment. Wear gloves, masks and goggles to avoid contact between the molecular sieve and the skin and eyes, and prevent dust inhalation.
Filling Process
Slowly pour the 13X HP molecular sieve adsorbent into the adsorption tower and other equipment to ensure uniform distribution and avoid bridging or uneven gaps. Specialized filling tools can be used to assist. During the filling process, the filling amount needs to be controlled. According to the design requirements of the equipment and the performance parameters of the molecular sieve, the filling amount should be accurately controlled to achieve the best adsorption effect. It should be noted that the zeolite should not be over-extended during the filling process to avoid breaking it and affecting its performance. It should be properly compacted after filling, but the pressure should not be too high.
Operation
Gas Introduction: The gas to be treated is introduced into the equipment equipped with the molecular sieve desiccant at a suitable flow rate and pressure, which is generally lower than the maximum allowable gas velocity of the molecular sieve to ensure that the gas is in full contact with it to achieve a good adsorption and separation effect.
Control Operating Conditions: According to the characteristics of the zeolite molecular sieve and the gas treatment requirements, strictly control the operating parameters such as temperature, pressure, and flow.
Monitoring And Maintenance: During use, the purity, flow rate and other indicators of the gas are monitored in real time through relevant instruments to observe the adsorption effect of the molecular sieve. Check the status of the equipment and molecular sieve regularly. If the performance of the molecular sieve is found to be degraded, it may need to be regenerated or replaced.
Regeneration Treatment
Heating Regeneration: Generally, heating is used to desorb impurities adsorbed on the molecular sieve. Commonly used heating media include hot nitrogen, hot air, etc. The heating temperature is usually around 200-350℃ to remove moisture and other impurities in it.
Depressurization Regeneration: By reducing the system pressure, the adsorbate is desorbed from the surface of the molecular sieve. Combined with heating regeneration, it can more effectively restore the adsorption performance of the zeolite adsorbent.
